Oriental Motor USA Corp. announced the DR Series, its latest compact electric cylinder motion-control products. The compact motor is suitable for products such as robots.
The DR Series is a linear motion actuator that incorporates a precision ball screw into a stepper motor. This is intended to reduce design work, save space, and minimize the number of parts needed for assembly. The DR Series is available with the 28mm AZ Series or two-phase PKP Series base motor, according to the Torrance, Calif.-based company.
