Researchers Propose New Solution to Quantum Internet Transmission Problem

Getting intact qubits from here-to-there is the basic challenge for any quantum internet scheme. Now, scientists from the University of Chicago, Stanford University, and California Institute of Technology have introduced a completely new idea for how to transmit quantum data — using vacuum beam guides (VBG) strung together in chains.
