The packaging engineer will be responsible for helping design and develop the packaging for these chips
Packaging Engineer
Design and build a packaging platform for optical chipset
Develop and evaluate the coupling process for optical chips
Interact with suppliers regarding system specifications, quotes, purchase orders, and incoming parts/components
Evaluate design for reliability, manufacturing, and assembly
BS or MS in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics
Minimum of 2 years of related experience in fiber optics packaging and assembly
Hands-on experience in construction and evaluation of optical couplings
Experience in design of opto-mechanical fixtures
Lab experience with optical measurements and optical test equipment
